Sustainability in fashion: A journey to transform the supply chain with Agile delivery
About the Topic:
Imagine walking into a shop to buy a new pair of sneakers. You have heard about shoes made from recycled ocean plastic and are curious to take a look. But when you pick those shoes off the shelf, how do you really know the source of the materials used?
The challenge is to demonstrate full transparency and achieve traceability across the supply chain, so consumers and regulators can be confident of product claims. Supply chain transparency and material traceability is an important and complex part of this strategy for the entire industry globally.
Join us for this seminar to understand how a leading fashion/sportswear brand defines sustainability, their challenges, and solutions across the supply chain, and how shifting from waterfall to Agile enables quicker response going forward.

Background:
Cecilia has 12+ years working in sportswear/fitness/x-industry markets across Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and China, developing strategy and executing large scale x-functional projects with an enterprising and creative start up mindset.
She has a background in strategy consulting, working with blue-chip companies globally on growth & expansion, project execution/business transformation and M&A/JV partnerships. Cecilia is passionate about furthering sustainability goals in the fashion/sportswear industry, developing innovative offerings and growing businesses in the health, fitness and wellness world.
Before adidas, Cecilia was the APAC Strategic planning lead for Under Armour, working with market GMs and functional heads to develop regional strategy, execute strategic priorities to drive top line growth.
Cecilia is also an entrepreneur and avid health and wellness advocate, having founded her own Pilates & Barre studio in Tokyo. She is a fully qualified Pilates, Barre, Piloxing and Les Mills kickboxing instructor.

Background:
Andrew has 20+ years’ experience delivering enterprise systems using both waterfall and Agile approaches. He transition to Agile delivery, coaching and teaching starting in 2017, developing a unique style of “Hands-on Agile” training where participants learn by doing, practicing Scrum and developing simple App prototypes in sprints during class.
Andrew has found that moving from waterfall to Agile is like learning to ride a bicycle. Difficult to do from watching a presentation or reading a book – better to get on the bike and learn by doing. This experiential approach has proven tremendously successful, and to date Andrew has taught over 750 students in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Mainland China.
Andrew is a long-term volunteer with the Project Management Institute (PMI), serving in PMI Chapters in Canada, Hong Kong, and Singapore, as well with the PMI Global Operations team in the US.
