Seminar on “From Strategy to Execution: Leading People through Change”
The world is changing. Disruption is the new normal. Successful managers need a few, critical skill set to stay relevant within their organizations or move quickly and confidently to new ones. Do you have what it takes?
Two seasoned professionals will help you assess and build your skills in Strategy and Change Management & Communications. The strategy section will focus on how to link strategy to vision and purpose and the fundamentals of strategy development. The change section will introduce five key elements of managing change: managing the process, yourself, your team, performance, and internal and external stakeholders.
Mr. Tapan Srivastava approaches strategy from the perspective of an accomplished and passionate hospitality leader. His structured approach emanates from a diverse background in consulting, strategic planning, investment analysis, asset management and operations across Asia Pacific, Greater China and Southwest Asia. Ms. Rachel Fleishman brings a wealth of experience in business development, B2B relationship management, sustainability, advocacy and communications in the US, Europe and Asia. She is a strong believer in the power of diverse stakeholders to achieve innovative goals in a fast-changing world.

About the Speaker:
Tapan Srivastava is a passionate hospitality leader with 17+ year of experience in operations, consulting and strategic growth across Asia Pacific, Greater China and South West Asia. He has worked with leading hotel brands and his last corporate role was at Hyatt as Regional Vice President Feasibility and Development Finance Asia Pacific & Greater China. Tapan holds a BA Honours in Hospitality Management from University of Huddersfield (UK), BBA from BAM University, India and MBA from SM University, India.
Rachel Fleishman is a business and thought leader with experience in corporate, non-profit and government settings. She recently founded Sustainability Insight, a Hong Kong-based consulting firm with both local and international clients. Her last corporate role was Head of Sustainability and Advocacy for a German chemicals firm, BASF in Asia Pacific. Rachel holds a BA in International Relations and History from Tufts University, Massachusetts, a Masters in Public Policy from the School of Public Affairs, University of Maryland and an MBA from Kellogg, Northwestern University, Illinois, in the U.S.
