About the Topic:

As a CFO, Connie oversees functions covering IT and application systems, Legal and Compliance, HR, Business Process in addition to her primary responsibility for managing the company’s finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks and financial reporting. Connie has planned and customized one of her company’s application system from scratch. She went through the process of business planning, investment decision, selection criteria / benchmarking, cost & benefit analysis and budget monitoring control during implementation phase. She understands that Project Managers need to collaborate with CFO in getting budget approval and budget reporting regularly. Connie would like to share the insight from her own perspective in the upcoming seminar for PM on “How to manage the CFO” in order to understand CFO’s way of thinking and how to plan and monitor budget costing successfully.

About the Speaker:

Ms Connie Yip is currently the Finance Director of Tchibo Hong Kong which is a buying office for its parent coffee company headquartered in Germany. Prior to joining Tchibo, Connie worked for another German retail group – Metro in both Hong Kong and Duesseldorf Germany. Connie has over 20 years of experience working in MNC in finance and accounting field and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant (AICPA).
