Synopsis
In today’s AI-driven world, the role of project managers is evolving beyond traditional boundaries. Many experienced PM feel uncertain about innovation, but they have the potential to become innovation coaches, unlocking creativity and driving innovation within their teams. This course introduces the concept of innovation coaching and provides them with the skills to foster a culture of innovation within their teams. By understanding the innovation landscape and leveraging AI tools, participants will learn how to arouse the innovation potential of their subordinates, leading to more agile and forward-thinking teams. The goal is to equip leaders with strategies to stay competitive and lead innovation in the AI age.

Prof. Dr. Kelvin Wan is a professional master-trainer and corporate coach and in IT/IS field with over 25 years of experience. He has provided live training and coaching to more than 19,000 executives across the U.S., U.K., Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Greater Bay Area (GBA) regions, specializing in soft skills, methodologies, and company strategies. On average, his learners have 15 years of professional experience.
He is known as a “3H” trainer—High-touch, High-energy, and Highly-engaged—leveraging technology to deliver impactful live training sessions.
Prof. Wan is also a practicing scholar. His recent research on “Soft Competence for Executives” has been accepted by a renowned U.S. forum and published on major search engines. This research is particularly relevant to project talent employment in the AI era for the coming decades. In addition to his academic contributions, Prof. Wan has been invited to join the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council as a member specializing in Project Management and PMO.
