Synopsis
Do you want to improve staff morale, motivation, and productivity or decrease staff turnover? Do you have a staff member who is failing to meet expectations? Is your organisation going through significant change or do you have to roll out a change programme? Do you need to deal with conflict? Do you have technical experts who need help to develop their managerial/interpersonal skills? Or do you just want to be a more effective manager?
Coaching can help to develop an employee as an effective performer. It can assist in building a reputation of trust and support, and creating an environment where staff members are able to work at their best. Ultimately this will also lead to improved morale, greater work efficiency, more opportunities for staff and managers, and greater ease in managing projects. Coaching is a unique opportunity to focus and move forward with personal, professional, and organizational goals through the exploration of ideas with confidential dialogue and unbiased thinking.
Students should preferably have responsibility for staff performance or be in a role that needs to influence others within an organisation.
The focus of the day-long training will be to acquaint students with the concepts of coaching and to learn some applied skills through a practical introduction to coaching.
