Synopsis
This course includes exercises, discussion and presentations inside which attendees apply the latest findings from researches on personality into their workplace in the project environment. The approach is to facilitate experience sharing, knowledge transfer and attitude shaping in a highly engaging way to ensure that attendees could manage stakeholders effectively in their workplace from a new perspective – Core needs of Personality by Personality Dimensions © (PD originated from Canada Researchers)
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Perform stakeholder management processes according to latest PMBoK Framework
- Grasp the knowledge about coreneeds of stakeholder with different types of personality through the lens of “Personality Dimensions © (Canada)” (PD)
- Experience the propriety psychological tools for personality and in-born core needs analysis from PD. PD personalized report
will be given to attendees. - Evaluate major stakeholders’ personalities and core needs
- Approach stakeholder with appropriate strategy based on their in-born and nurtured personal preference
- Prepare reports, emails, presentations in different style fitting the preferences and personalities of audience
- Enrich the project communication strategy that matches the project participants’ needs
- Manage conflicts more efficiently

Audience
This course is intended for project leaders who need to manage stakeholders. This course is intended for project managers/ program managers/ team leaders/ people managers/ team members who want to hone their stakeholder management skills to maximize the project benefits (satisfied customers, happy upper management, high teamwork, high quality, fast delivery and reasonable resources) by lowering the nontangible obstacles – stakeholder tension – in project environment.
Prerequisites
Before attending this course, project leaders must have:
- Strong knowledge of project management
- Experience of managing stakeholders in project environment
- Some understanding about the stakeholder management processes and tools stated in international project book / Guide e.g. PMBoK
- Ability to share, articulate and present knowledge, experience and information in a systematic and clear way
