"The latest development of Six Sigma Techniques and its application to project management"
To compete in today's world, every business needs to improve. Improvement can include better design of goods and services, reduction of manufacturing defects and service errors, more streamlined and efficient operations, faster customer response and better employee skills. Improving business performance requires a structured customer-centric approach, disciplined thinking, engagement of everyone in the organization and an emphasis on demonstrating measurable business benefits for the organisation.
The objective of this workshop is to introduce the latest development of this customer-centric approach and demonstrate how these techniques can be applied in project management.

About the Speaker:
Ir. Dr. YK Chan
EngD (Warwick), DMgt(IMC/SCU), RE, FHKIE, RSSMBB, RLS, TOC Certified Practitioner
Ir. Dr. YK Chan is the Hong Kong Managing Director of a global consultant firm, SBTI-HK Ltd. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Fellow of the Hong Institute of Engineers (FHKIE) and the  Chairman of Six Sigma Institute.
Dr. Chan graduated with a Doctorate in Engineering from University of Warwick and a Doctorate in Management from IMC / SCU (Sichuan University). He is also a registered Six Sigma Black Belt and has extensive experience in the practice of lean methodologies.
