"Design Thinking Approach in New Product and Service Development Projects "
How can we develop products or services customers truly adore?
This is the question we often ask. Do you have a satisfying answer?

The speaker of this seminar believes that there maybe one. In the seminar, he will share with us the Design Thinking Methodology adopted by big companies like Apple, P&G, Unilever, Toyota, and startups like Airbnb, UBER, etc.

Design Thinking is a customer centered approach we can utilize in solving problems and enhancing customer experience. With the methodology, we aim to develop services and products which are desired by customers, technically feasible and viable in the market.

The speaker will give a brief introduction and share some real cases of design thinking.

About the Speaker:
Mr. Simon Tong

Mr. Simon Tong is the founder and an Innovation Consultant of two management consulting firms Smartway Management Technologies Limited in Hong Kong and Foshan Systematic Innovation Corporate Management Consulting Limited in China.  He has extensive consulting experience in corporate innovation capability development and new product and service innovation for various industries including manufacturing, banking, hotel, retails and government.

In addition, Mr. Tong was the Chairman of American Society for Quality, Local Member Community Hong Kong and conducted numerous workshops on the topic of Design Thinking.

Mr. Tong obtained his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from City University. He is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB). He also finished Design Thinking Training held by MIT Sloan Executive Education.
