About the Topic:

"When Data Meets Human Mind: Opportunities and Challenges in Customer Analytics"
With the advancement of information technology, customer and demand data are more readily available. Whether and how such data can be used to help make better decisions is a question asked by many. Will it be able to live up to the promise that believers aspire? Or is it simply another bubble as predicted by some skeptics?  Drawing on the examples of projects MIT had with companies, this talk discusses some opportunities and challenges in customer analytics. The goal is to provide insights into the potentials, pitfalls and possible directions on the development and application of customer analytics.
