PMI HK Chapter - Executive Committee 2019 - 2021
We are grateful for the support from members like you and all volunteers. I cordially invite you to join our Annual General Meeting 2019 with details as follows. All eligible PMP® will be granted 1 PDU after participating in this event.
PMI Hong Kong Chapter had completed the Call-for-Nomination for the sixteen (16) Executive Committee members to serve in the Chapter Board, with Nomination formally closed on 30 April 2019. Totally, 19 nomination forms were received. The Nomination Committee (NC) had reviewed and confirmed the eligibility of 16 candidates, with one candidate for each position. Therefore, NC has decided that there is no need to call for a vote. Below are the results of the sixteen (16) elected Executive Committee members.
The theme of this year is "The New Future of Banking and Bankers – GBA and Digitalisation", which reflects the rapid evolvement of the banking industry as not only the business model, with the introduction of open banking and virtual banking, but also the skillset required given the continuous digitalisation of the industry. The establishment of GBA also extended the business opportunities beyond traditional boundaries.
The itSMF HK Chapter will be hosting the 14th itSMF 2019 Annual Conference on 29 May 2019 in Hong Kong.
The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, the Hong Kong Police Force and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre have jointly organised “We Together! Secure Data!” Poster Design Contest (the Contest). The Contest aims to encourage the public to adopt data protection best practices, enhance their awareness of cyber security and draw their attention to the importance of information security. Through this contest, participants could get across data protection message to the public and the industry in a creative manner.
In 2019, members of the PMI Hong Kong Chapter (PMIHK) will elect sixteen (16) Executive Committee members to serve PMIHK for a two-year term, from July 2019 to June 2021.

The nomination period is from April 01, 2019 (9:00 am HK time) to April 30, 2019 (5:00pm HK time) inclusive. Please grab the chance to nominate eligible PMIHK members whom you considered as capable to succeed in the positions.
The Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT), the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) and the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) jointly organise an information security seminar.

This stream recognises outstanding locally developed products and applications which provide cost-effective and innovative IT solutions to business enterprises as well as public sector organisations, through the deployment of proven and emerging information technologies. The awards encourage original products and services development by our IT industry as well as in-house applications developed by business and public sector organisations.
